aren't they the cutest? the youngest baby is a cinnamon, and the baby with lots of yellow and red on his chest is a yellow sided, and the darker baby is a normal green cheek.

  • awww we have a 3 month old cinnamon green cheek named yoshi he is SO AWESOME! very talkative and playful, still bites a bit but hes getting better every day!

  • @CanadianCatastrophes babies can be a bit nippy....but just keep discouraging the nipping and it will stop.

  • They are like 13 weeks old not 4

  • @eklipse18 no....they are only 4 weeks old in this video. green cheek conures grow very fast.

  • what is hat food in the bowl on the right that at 0:44 the baby is trying??

  • @Pfmw12 the food they are interested in is our sprout mix mixed with some frozen veggies. I will send you a link in a private message about this food.

  • awww how very cute! we are getting a yellow sided one at the first of the year when he is weaned - cant wait!!

  • @rita191919 what shall a person do if they nip you when they are hungry ofcourse feed them but anything else ?

  • my green cheek looks like the 1 on the left and he is 4 months will he loose the red on his chest when he gets older or what please tell me

  • @samimerhi Mine is the same way! I call him my bodyguard bird. How sad that you couldn't get another one! If you are still looking, birdmart and avianweb are great resources to find breeders locally and nationally. I actually think all of my birds came from one of these two places :p

  • @snikkers27 Thats great but my gcc is very aggressive with others exept for me. I dont think i can cage him with another bird. I coudnt get anotherone though :( the breeder said that there are no more.

  • @samimerhi Haha I have two green cheeks as well, and we weren't going to cage them together at first, but we ended up doing it for about a year because they just loved the company.

  • @snikkers27 thanks :) actually the breeder said that she can feed him until he's ready to eat on his own. It's true GCCs can be nippy! I already have one and he NEVER bites me. but he always bites my brothers! (im not planing to cage them together if you were asking).

  • what foods do you usually provide in weaning the baby birds? :)

  • @samimerhi A breeder normally won't sell a bird to you that needs to be hand fed if you don't know a lot about birds. When I got my baby sun I had to hand feed her. A green cheek was my first bird and I'm really glad I didn't have to do it with him! All weaned birds can eat on their own as long as you provide a food bowl with food. Preferably high up in the cage. They also need a constant supply of water. Beware, though, of GCC's - these birds are naturally nippy!

  • SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!
