Demo of North-American FL-Y type signals incl. dark-aspect. Type-A1,A2 and B signal boards are connected each other with a 10pin flat cable which consists of serial communication line, DCC power line, DC5V line for PIC circuit, DC5V line for relayunit (non-use) and so on . This hardware is the same as those movies of Part 1-5, excepting the asm-program registered in PIC16F648A. Type-A2 has not DCC decoder but can be remotely operated from Type-A1 or B. Using this signal system, a N-scale layout of PowderRiverBasin Orin-line in WY is under construction. In about a month, how to assemble this signal system and some asm-programs, every tech. info will be shown in www.dokidoki.ne.jp/home2/tohrus/marklin.html in English. Japanese pages has been already available, there.
like your videos what are you using for the detection is it a infread dector under the track to detect the locomotive or train if so let me know I love to use this on my railroad

This signal board has the rail-current detection using rectifier diodes, like Digitrax BDL. However, unlike BDL, this signal board is prefectly isolated from DCC power lines by photo-couplers.
