The Caltex on South Road, that will surely close, look at its position. The Port River Express Way needs to 3 lanes each way from South Road to Port Wakefield Road, peek hour you can be at a stand still in was is a 90kmh section with no cause. And why cant we post a comment on the Mike Rann listed video, where is the freedom of speech, afraid of logical criticism?
so where the 3 lanes each way next to the golf course will be replaced by 3 lanes (just no trees) then where it moves to the 4 lanes at Days Road is being replaced by 4 lanes (2 up and 2 down). Traffic can still go through the intersection of Grand Junction Road along South Rd so the flow of Grand Junction Rd is potentially reduced only slightly. Grand Junction RD intersection will still have congestion because of the turning lanes and lack of loop style exits and on ramps.
How depressing.
