Pity AussieTrax stopped the rental of their Defenders which were equipped for long-range travel. We hired two of them in 2001 and travelled from Perth to Darwin. They were very well kitted out: a superb rooftent, 135 liter dieseltank, aircon, recovery gear (including gloves for handling the winch cable!), a pull-out kitchen (gas stove and sink), 65 liter stainless steel water tank, electric cool box, spare parts and tools, EPIRB, short range radio, BBQ, damper, satellite phone... Very complete
