I am in love with this song. I've never heard of this guy or this song, I just stumbled upon it and OMG... sadly this is me. Going through a divorce as we speak! blah. Sounds like a Steve Wariner song or something. I just love it. That's all. :oP

Gorgeous song and he does a fantastic job singing it. However, Cheryl Wheeler wrote it. There is a YouTube of both of them singing it as a duet. What a lovely voice he had (and Cheryl still has).

@PTCello Lots of people like Dan Seals but don't know or appreciate this song. That is what underrated means to me in this context. Obviously, those with taste know it is his best song.
