This doe was taken with a .50 cal patched round ball, TC Hawken.

We go through great care to make sure that all parts of the deer are used and all edible parts are consumed.

  • That thing should have gone down right away... I mean 50 cals a huge bullet, and that wasn't a big deer... Yeah where did you hit it?

  • .50 cal patched round ball from a muzzleloader is far different than what you are talking about. It's in the description...

  • I have been hunting deer for about 30 years and have killed 36 deer both bucks and does. Even after all these years, the sight of this beautiful doe still gets me fired up. Nice shot and nice video!

  • @snowmofrk13 you know what works even better, a finger cut off of a latex glove! Dry as a bone (no lube), and cheap because you can use all the fingers of the glove!

  • @beastlyepicness what is a .50 cal sniper?......people dont know shit about firearms!.......you mean a gun chambered for the .50bmg cartridge.....the standard grain weight of the bullet in a .50bmg is around 700 grains....the grain weight of a .50roundball is around 150 grains....then there are conical bullets for muzzle loaders which increases ballistic performance...then there are the other smokeless .50 cal's like the .50ae,.50 beowulf ect....all of which are inferior to the .50bmg.

  • @snowmofrk13 Yah right, like a guy is gonna walk around the woods with a condom over the end of his gun...??? Keep the muzzle down and don't stick it in snow problem solved. You don't need to fire and reload your gun, unfired powder is not corrosive you can leave it loaded for a long time with no bad effects and it don't affect the accuracy either.

  • @AImosTskater44 believe it or not condoms work awsome over the barrel to keep snow and water out of the barrel and i found that snow in the barrel can really screw up your shot also if i hunt more then 2 or 3 days in the cold i just fire the shot and clean my gun becuase black powder is very corrosive in the older barrles

  • @SuperRshunter its a .50 cal muzzleloader not like a freakin .50 cal sniper

  • @AImosTskater44 I was taught to keep misfires from happening in winter, you have to keep the muzzleloader in the cold temp. Ex: You go out muzzleloader hunting in the winter the temp is cold, meaning the gun is cold, right? When you leave to go home, you bring the gun into the warm house with you. What happens? Condensation. I was told if you keep bringing the gun in and out of the house, the gunpowder will get wet and will misfire. Keep the gun in a garage/shed to avoid misfires. I do.

  • hey is it true that muzzleloaders sometimes misfire from cold weather? what can i do to avoid misfires

  • What no rack? It sure is great to see someone harvest a deer for the real reason we should be hunting in the first place-for the meat. One who kills for the sport ofit has an ego problem and should not be in possesion of a firearm but maybe a golf club instead.Bragging about the kill and its rack is unethical, but then they will justify their sport by "donating"the meat while patting themselves on the back.

  • so hows that ball compare to a sabot cause i perfer to shoot thompson center XTP sabot jacketed hollow point
