Recorded at the 2009 Jacksonville Jazz Festival, May 23rd. Montell is an accomplished trumpet player. Because of his passion for music and kids, he agreed to play with our high school band members. The program was made possible through a grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida. The students were from a variety of band programs in northeast Florida with little jazz ensemble experience. The Jazz Festival was the culmination of several months rehearsals.
