in vain, things will have been WORSE BECAUSE WE WERE THERE. So this is a VERY DIFFICULT decision and it's why anyone who says their side is absolutely correct is not thinking right or is ill-informed. If we stay, we risk more lives, more billions that we don't have, but above all, it becomes EVEN MORE NECESSARY THAT WE STAY UNTIL THE END SO THAT THE MISSION, LIVES, COSTS ARE IN VAIN. If we leave, we risk the unintended yet not-definite consequence that EVERYTHING will have been in vain &WORSE

a limb or becoming blind or deaf etc.
BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of dollars have and are being spent for this mission.
SO the question is this: Do we pull out and thereby allow the human cost as well as financial cost to be all in vain? For example, if we leave prematurely, and their soldiers are inadequately equipped, manned, trained, and they are overrun (thereby incredibly boosting the morale and recruiting of the taliban and al qaida) not only were all those deaths, injuries, financial costs

the assistance of the u.s this reasoning is predicated on the notion that if these places remain destitute and hopeless, the people will resort to al qaida (what may have increasing influence and presence there) and conspire to attack US here in the u.s. So thousands of lives have died FOR THIS MISSION, and MANY, MANY MORE have permanent debilitating injuries for the sake of this mission
B) ON THE OTHER HAND, again, THOUSANDS of lives DEAD; MANY MORE THOUSANDS PERMANENT INJURIES -- like losing

Whoever on the pro-withdrawal or anti-withdrawal side believes they're 100% right are quite frankly wrong
The truth is there is no EASY ANSWER to this EXTREMELY DIFFICULT predicament we're in. There are many levels to this which increases in sophistication and intellect, but I'll just summarize the basic basic level:
A) We've spent TEN YEARS AND COUNTING on this mission. What is the mission? To rebuild and train a formidable armed forces such that they will be able to defend themselves w/o

@tynic2006 thank you good sir u are one person who doesnt have their head high up in the shit people call
patriotism. your right in pretty much every war we have fought we have never been fighting for our freedom we have been trying to take someone else freedom
-
Ok, so I'm definately not a military strategist, and I dont really understand the politics behind all of this nonsense...but at first it was removal, now it's reinforce, guess we cant look forward to a drop in gas prices any time soon. Thx Obama.
Another thing; I always hear that people are fighting for our freedom. Wouldn't that entail sum1 trying to take our freedom away? I dont see how fighting in iraq, iran, beaches of normandy or vietnam protected OUR freedom, no one is trying to take it

zzy. you are the dumbass. why weren't you paying attention during all those obama speeches?
not doing what he promised? I'd say you got things all wrong. he gave two messages in his speeches. the problem is that you didn't listen to one side and were busy crying and screaming yes we can! you weren't paying attention or were just in hypnotic land when he said he would bomb pakistan or when he defended the patriot act or umm when he said let us all thank president bush for his service!
u dumb fuck

Fuck 'em all, and fuck you if you're an Obama fan. Dumbass.

Don't say the people who drank the kool aid, thats so fucking annoying the only people I've ever say that are far-right conservative shitheads.
It was between Obama and McCain. I'd WAY still rather Obama then McCain. It wasn't we've hoped for (at least so far), but fuck, still better than that old fart and Palin
The list of lie. funny.
A lot of these commentators have weighed and come to the conclusion that Mr. Obama has failed:
(1) because of his name,
(2) he`s black
(3) he`s not McCain
Everything else is detail.
If it goes bad, "see, I told you".
If it goes good, "he had nothing to do with it".

he promised he would be out of iraq within 16 months. after he was inaugurated he said he would "look" at bringing the troops home in 16 months. then he said that he would "look" at bringing the troops home in 23 months. and now hes sending another 30, 000 troops to afghanistan!
this guy is a puppet - taxes wont go down, this global warming bullshit will have you taxed for everything to "reduce your carbon footprint"
