40k Battle Report: Dark Eldar vs Tau

The game was 1500 points, Seize Ground with 4 objective markers, the Dark Eldar set up first and got first turn.

We played late at night, so the lighting is poor. You guys should be able to figure out what's going on, but if anything is unclear, please don't hesitate to ask.

You don't control objectives when you go to ground, since you're pinned.

@Gruntoffry Sure you do. There's nothing in the rulebook preventing pinned models from scoring objectives.

The talos doesnt give armour saves does it? I thought the claws on it ignored those saves?

It does indeed ignore Armour Saves, because it is a Monstrous Creature. However, the Shield Drones taking the hits have 4+ Invulnerable Saves. Even Monstrous Creatures can't punch through that.

One important tips for the DE user:

At 7:40 you dice a 3 on the W6 and

then you dice just 3 attacks!

The Talos gets everytime a +1 bonus on its attack

remember that!
