One of my favs,some much harmony its unreal.
Im a bassist and play mainly funk,jazz,soul but i always come back to the carpenters for some ear candy and to hear the melodys which are quite simply nice music.

one of my all time favorite songs...surprised it didn't sell as well as their others..it's a great tune...perfectly arranged....these siblings were incredible..wonder what they'd sound like today if we hadn't lost karen???

@qdwright76 That's not how anorexia works. If you're passionate about helping those with eating disorders, though, learning about the (many) real causes would be a good way to honor her memory.

you are so right! Her lower register was so rich, fluid, natural, sweet and deep!
Karen was magic. There's simply only one. Such a dirty shame she's not here, but let's say that now she's another angel in heaven. she sounded like one on earth though!! :D

Karen will always be my favorite all time singer, dead or alive, I have yet to find someone who can top her (in my book), and I agree there are many many great singers but for her its a combination of her voice the music and her presence
