Reza Jahani soloing Esfahan. I took this Setar from a forgotten corner in a music shop. The seller insisted that it wasn't good for me, but it WAS!

  • Thanks for nice playing.May I ask who is setaar maker? It sounds very pure and geniune.and where Can I buy one of those with the same quality?

  • @soheilakerman Dear

This Setar wasn't a famous make (PEJHVAK), and I had fine-tuned it a bit. You can buy nicer ones. If needed, I can help.

  • @tarjomegar .Tnx for your reply. How much is it if I want to buy one with the ame quality?

  • @solomaniani Yes, Seriously :-)

At times, I might not be able to reach YouTube. So, please send me a personal message and mention your email. I'll keep you informed

  • @tarjomegar Are you serious?? :D How can I get more information? I really want to come and see you play!

    you have truly inspired me!!

  • @solomaniani Dear, the time and effort needed for that is so much different from one person to the other that it's almost impossible to tell. But it was 4 years ago, and I had been playing for more than 7 years then. By the way, you said Sweden... I am going to have a concert in Sweden next month. Hope wee meet!

  • @tarjomegar Hello again, I'm an iranian born in Sweden. That's ok.. I guess I have to practice a lot before I can play like that. How long did it take for you to be able to improvise? I play 1-2hours every day...

  • @solomaniani

First, thanx. Second, that was almost an improvisation and not played from notes. Where are you dear? Maybe I can help more.

  • Dear Reza, I really admire your playing. I play setar myself and I was wondering if it's possible to learn that song... Is it called Esfahan? is there any sheets?

    Thank you!
