Did Romney just use facts?

@VITRUVIANMANNOLA That's a debatable point among economists. Robert Barro, Silvia Ardagna, and Alberto Alesina have put out studies which show that tax cuts have a greater stimulus than spending increases.

"Tax cuts do not..."
This is, obviously, an empirical question and the jury is still out on that one. Obviously Krugman and Klein (only one of them being an actual economist) argued that infrastructure spending has a larger fiscal multiplier, but Christina and David Romer's research did argue that tax cuts and investment tax credits had considerably larger GDP multipliers than infrastructure spending (3.0 vs 1.75).

Thanks to liberal policy the world economy is crashing. We must do two things to stop the meltdown NOW!!! Firstly, we need to raise all payroll taxes 10% for one year. We also need to stop (right now) wasteful handout programs like medicare, social security, unemployment,, etc. and lower the minimum wage to $2/hr so we can compete with China. I will work with Romney, Ryan and my other republican colleagues and take immediate action on these proposals. God bless the GOP!

No need to take anything out of context here . . . right Willard?

@Duckeieio it shows how Romney lied in 2010 and 2011 when he said Obama didnt try to reach across the isle or that economic advisers said the stimulus wouldnt work.
Two things wrong here: 1 Mitt flip flopping ...ONCE again. 2: Tax cuts do not spur more growth than spending on infrastructure. It's been proving the opposite is true. Not only is this guy the biggest joke in political history but he is also an imbecile too. And I thought he was supposed to be smart? I guess there is a difference between being educated and being intelligent. Mitt misses out on the latter.

'Course Mitt is talking about tax cuts for the wealthy, and Obama's economic advisors (and all others, excepting the paid-for ones repping ALEC, etc.), are talking about tax cuts for the "middle class" AND an uptick on taxes for the over-advantaged.
Mitt is relying on MOST of his audience being 1) on his side, 2) not paying attention... or, 3) simply stupid.
