I had to guard this cassette for always man. The grunts tried to lift it from ne on several occassions. It was the only tape I could listen to in Vietnam. I was a water truck driver and serviced the entire Mekong Delta. A bit hairy, but my cassette of Mona and QMS and the pack of joints a smoked all day long kept me going in my own world. Who would give a fuck if anything went wrong. I had my music man. Cleartwater.

John Cippolino and Gary Duncan are like peanut butter and jelly/Bob Weir and Jerry Garcia, Mark Knopfler and Sonny Landreth

Man talk about vinyl. My Happy Trails album has tape around three sides. I played that fucking album so much I think I wore it out. They were awesome to see in concert. When Dino was alive, what a voice he had. Quicksilver was the only casette I had i Vietnam. I had to hide that tape before some fucking grunt or combat engineer could get there hands on it. I made it home in 04/1970. I still have the casette even though I think is it mono. Cleartwater.

John Cipollina & Gary Duncan What a dynamic duo! You had to be there to experience the magic of a live performance, no recording really can capture it! Cipollina was the greatest!!!
This was one incredible sexy song back in the day ...yes, kids, I am old enough to remember when it was released, had the vinyl ...(still do in storage)...and it holds up today.......yes yes........I love that part "I'm gonna tell you Mona what I want to do...."

@patriotgirl53 I remember this from back in the day as well, and also had it on vinyl. It's one of my favorite songs, and to this day it still makes my heart go "thumpity thumpity thump". ;) I was lucky enough to see them in concert back in 1970/71. Quite an experience!
