i am that single mom who left moved away from a gated community and an abusive husband to now live in a high crime community where i have had my house broken in to. I was terrified to leave my children at home when i went to work. What he says is true. we in this community should have men or laws that would stop the robbing, and violence against women, our elderly, and our kids.

@hotey125467 - well thanks for you're support!! :-) I wish you were over here in RI lol I spent most of my time working in high crime areas usually just in little stores but i actually liked it because you wouldn't believe it but this beard for SOME reason among other minorities actually doesn't stick out as much.. i felt more human there.. and also it put a few jerks on edge if they tried to act up.. i remember some dude i hear him whisper to his friend ''im about to rip this niggas beard off'

if she thought somebody was around just to make sure no ones trying 2 rob her again. but seriously speaking if you know any of those black or arab muslims with the big beards around where you live.. im sure there are some.. make friends! if they know you see them as good people theyd lose a limb for you! haha.. we're outcasts here, so you wouldn't believe how much we appreciate it when someone like you says something like you did in that comment :)

and i'm not just saying that to pretend im worth something or whatever.. but i know myself and i know my people are like that... once i got fired bc this guy i knew deep down didn't like me bc i was muslim.. two dudes from the mosque i didn't even kno i tlked 2 randomly n told them that in the convo.. mind you they were wayyy over 6ft with massive beards lol.. and they comment ''we should go pay him a visit'' i thought they were just talking but i found out later they went over there

and talked to the dude (non violoently bc obv their appearance was threatening enough) and what do you know.. dude became my friend over night :-S .. look for muslims around your area.. you definitely won't regret it. the country can make all the laws it wants.. but a law won't everrrr work unless the men are working on the side of law enforcement.. but then there are reasons why they don't at times too.. lol it's one big mixed up mess in this country my amigo :-/

Christianity is the religion that America was founded on. Don't be an idiot and claim that your bringing islam to America. I am Canadian and live in Quebec where we had issues with your practitioners of your faith intruding on our way of life and not abiding by our laws in our country. If you want to bitch and complain, go back to your country if you are so imbeded in your faith. You can practice your faith no doubt, but don't intrude on ours. And your talking about the blacks here.

You seem to be a good, consciously aware person. I hope this screwed up society we live in doesn't change you from taking time to acknowledge those who need a bit of friendship; as you've done in the past. I lived in RI with ex husband and his family and you couldn't imagine the amounts of "slip and falls" they were always suing for...and yes they were white. I consider that living off the system.

I like the suggestion RE making friends with guys who will have my back, lol. Maybe i will! Peace
