Team Fortress 2: Blood Bug? (FIXED)

THE BUG HAS NOW BEEN FIXED WITH THE LATEST UPDATE!

Not exactly what I was planning to upload as my first video of 2010, but hey, it needs doing.

For some reason after the 118th update, the blood sprites that appear when a character takes damage seem to have disappeared completely. The video shows what IS affected and what isn't affected.

I'm pretty damn sure I'm not the only one suffering from this. I have a Steam-bought UK version of the game.

@TheAaron404 Well the only method I know of is contacting Valve asking to have your copy of TF2 turned into the Low Violence version, removing blood and turing the gory gibs into fun ones.

However, I think the change can't be undone if you go through with it.
