MEET ISLA FORGERON

Isla Rose Forgeron, born in the US Virgin Islands, began dancing at age 10 and was hooked. Although she loved to dance, it wasnt as naturally easy for her. After years of hard work and determination she was elected Murrieta Valley High School Dance Team Co-Captain her senior year. The same year she toured Europe and China singing Mozart with world-renowned composer Eric Whitacre. During her senior year she was introduced to Team Millennia Jrs. After seeing Mavyn Entertainment perform their flawless piece at Traffic 2005 she fantasized about dancing with them. After a summer of intense work, training and classes Isla was asked to join Mavyn. The two-years with Mavyn and becoming accepted as part of a new family, was more meaningful than the dancing itself. She then auditioned for Bloc Dance Agency (With bats in her stomach) and was fortunate to become one of their clients. Isla Rose then made a bold move to live, train and work in North Hollywood as a professional dancer while continuing her full time college education. Living in North Hollywood in a house full of artist was difficult at times but with unlimited, unconditional support from her family, church and friends she no longer felt a fish out of water.

Isla Has worked with Artists such as: Keri Hilson, Natasha Bedingfield, Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, Q-tip, T-pain, Asher Roth, Jeremih, Armenchik and Savage. She has been fortunate enough to dance on George Lopez Talk Show and Doritos Crash the Super Bowl commercial. She has been inspired and has had the opportunity to work with choreographers: Fatima Robinson, Shane Sparks, Jae Blaze and Chopper to name a few.

Isla enjoys laughing too hard, reading, spaghetti, Guitar Hero, watching Dumb and Dumber, Reeses Pieces, playing chess with her Dad, traveling, fun facts: its physically impossible for you to lick your own elbow, Halloween, seeing the best in people and making her family proud.
