The bow is a Turkish bow replica made by Grozer. It's not a Mongolian bow. There are noticabe morphologic differences between these two types of bow.

There are some explanations on the info area...

"Center cut" or "center shot" bows (that most 3-finger shooters use) are more accurate than the bows with conventional grip/riser designs, at least they're easier to tune. Thumbrelease overcomes this problem to some extent."

...contiues....
One must compensate the right-left deviation sometimes, but usually there is not too much problem in clearence.
One can shoot very accurately with a thumbring but it's a little more difficult to master compared to the 3-finger release. Consistency takes some time. The difference in accuracy mainly depends on the bow design, not the release.

Murat says:
"After tendon injuries in last April I have been shooting a 38#@28 Grozer Turkish base bow. The arrows are wooden (35-40# spined Port Orford cedar, cut to 29'', weigh ca. 388-400 grains) and Easton 1916 aluminum arrows (29'' with 100 grain points, can't remember the total weight),. Al-arrows may seem to be overspined but they're not. Thumbrelease enables the archer get on well with a wider spectrum of spine.

I´am interested in thumb ring shooting too. How accurate can one get with a ring?

Watch my other vids, I have one on accuracy. Accuracy also depends on how much you train...
