Oh, those days. My dad and grand father wanted to buy me an educational game about ancient history (because they both were nuts about history, Greek and Roman cultures especially), and this is the game they decided to pick up from a local store. Considering this was the best choice back then, I couldn't have been more lucky.

Many people around speak of AoE1, as it was a great part of their childhood... I won't. For even today, every now and then, I pick up the CD, go through the troubles modern machines have with the games of old, and play it. Because this game is something, that if I can help it, will be remembered even in the next century.
