The best music being from 60's, 70's, and 80's is debatable... and all depends on taste.

Personally I'm a late 80's, early 90's person... Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Tragically Hip, etc. person.

There's never any music that's wholy universal... that's what's great about art -- it's individual.
