Casey has broken up with Sam to be with Derek, but he just started going out with Kendra.
Derek wants to be with Casey, but he doesn't want to hurt Kendra's feelings.
So Casey gets upset and tired of waiting around for Derek and she gets back together with Sam.
Everytime Casey kisses Sam, all she can think about is Derek. The same goes for Derek: Casey is always on his mind.
All of this leads to jealousy, anger, fights, and avoidance.
Finally, Derek breaks it off with Kendra and Casey breaks up with Sam.
And after some talking and flirting, Derek and Casey are finally together :)
-"Everytime I look for you, the sun goes down" is like a metaphor about how everytime Derek and Casey try to be together, something always gets in the way.
-The scenes in sepia are Derek's regrets.
