@Taikamya - thank you for your kind comments and true appreciation. the song is a beautiful one no doubt, the greatness of corgan's songwriting ability. his acoustic music specifically has inspired me a great deal. i tried to stay true to the feeling of this song while giving it my own touch. if you're interested me/my band has a number of free acoustic albums very much in line with this style on our bandcamp page.

I believe that more than the cover, you've captured the feeling that it's supposed to have. If you know what I mean. This is really something you know... really nice work you done there.
