When I was younger (Like... what, eight or nine?) this game kicked my ass but I still played it through. Ten years later, this game still has a place in my heart.

My biggest complaint with alter code F is that they changed Rudy's attack mechanic..instead of his ARM being something for only special attacks it was his primary weapon...just didn't make any sense

my first rpg, too. Seems 100 years have passed since that day. This opening is simply wonderful

YES. This theme belongs at #1 to me.

That' s a great opening music, with a great deal of inspiration from Ennio Morricone's work (inescapable whenever there is a Western theme).
By the way, in your lists there are only Japanese RPG: do you think Western RPG have a less valid music, or the fact is that you don't play them?
great!

Didnt play alter code F that much, but I wish they had included this opening in it. Great choice. 5/5+ another fav.

Well they did use the opening theme, and the opening is cleaner and all. I just went the original route.

Oh, cause when i stated alter code f i got a scene of some people talking and no opening. I don't know how I missed it.

After you finished the 3 prologues, it starts to play the opening.
