  • i always thought the do, re, mi, fa , sol, la, ti, do was for the C major scale, but if I understood her correctly, solfedge is for every scale right? So if I was in the key of Bb major, the note c would be 're'?

  • You are absolutely right!

  • She scares you? I've learned more from this lady in the last 30 minutes then I have in 3 months. She's an awesome instructor! I'm so grateful. Nothing scary what so ever. So that's just a weird comment.....and inappropriate too. This is an adult class, keep teenage comments like that to yourself. We don't want to read it.

  • the lady explains great, i have to see more of her.

  • Nice set of videos! Iraq is not the same as Persia though! :)

  • The C scale jumps out at you on keyboard. Your 2 and then 3 matches the black keys (with the half steps). Am does the same, to count a minor scale. Thanks for the simple explaination. Once ppl understand scales, doing the songs is so much easier.

  • you are terrific. I am interested in your "music exchange" keyboard atop your board. What is that , how did you do that? I would love to have something like that in my studio

  • Thank you so much for the lesson. Do you have the sheet so we can download?

  • She's brilliant. I'm finally beginning to understand music!

  • She's hilarious, I laughed out loud.. everyone in class her seems half asleep? She is a brilliant teacher. I finally understand scales/sharps/flats/chords!

  • so pretty much a scale is like a guide line....you fallow it alphabetacaly or in the patter givin for that scale in order for the music to sound good......am i write please tell me

  • As a keyboard player i just want to thank Karen for the excellent manner of explaining musical facts and the lot of eye openers even for experience musicians
