She scares you? I've learned more from this lady in the last 30 minutes then I have in 3 months. She's an awesome instructor! I'm so grateful. Nothing scary what so ever. So that's just a weird comment.....and inappropriate too. This is an adult class, keep teenage comments like that to yourself. We don't want to read it.

The C scale jumps out at you on keyboard. Your 2 and then 3 matches the black keys (with the half steps). Am does the same, to count a minor scale. Thanks for the simple explaination. Once ppl understand scales, doing the songs is so much easier.

so pretty much a scale is like a guide line....you fallow it alphabetacaly or in the patter givin for that scale in order for the music to sound good......am i write please tell me

21/2 31/2 you know Karen ive been taught this at least fifteen times and till this day it was never explained in its proper form . Thank you Your new online student attending to graduate D.B ps i look at churches very differently today as i drive by going theirs a gig just keep learning Bob
i always thought the do, re, mi, fa , sol, la, ti, do was for the C major scale, but if I understood her correctly, solfedge is for every scale right? So if I was in the key of Bb major, the note c would be 're'?
