  • @matthew65536 It's more of a DIN cable that was widely used at that time. If you can find a Model M keyboard, it will likely have a port that looks identical. DIN evolved into PS/2 which evolved into USB.

  • the apple desktop bus port for the keyboard looks like ps/2

  • Wonderful! I still have my classic 2 (bought in 1991 I think) in my loft, think I will dig it out now you have reminded me how great it was. System 7 still seems like an up to date OS, it was truly amazing at the time - especially compared with the MS competition!

  • @slicker41 no, It came out in 1990. In 1984 the original Macintosh was released
