Regarding the Vignette, I find the Lens Correction option a far quicker tool

couldn't you just use levels or curves to achieve the same effect of the gradient map your using?
it is just as easy, and it gives you more control

Levels will give you a totally different effect.Try it if you don't beleive me! :)
