Alex is very intelligent but lacks social and motor skills. He does well on the school work that he completes. He's a happy child but struggles with everything all the time. His favorite cartoon is Tom & Jerry, favorite color is red, loves his skateboard and bike, loves maps and trains, socially and mentally he is like a 6 year old and has been for the past few years. He gets along well with adults and toddlers or children closer to 5 or 6. He is kind, caring, polite and uniquely him. <3

Continued: diagnosed with PDD-NOS, ODD, ADHD, Anxiety NOS when he was 7 after he started becoming dangerous to himself and others, had meetings with the public school to ween him into special education, developed IEP's and behavioral support plans, goes to a Psychiatrist routinely, gets bullied in school, loves school so much that he cries when he can't go (vacation, illness), highly disruptive in class, destroys school/personal property, does not understand when he's being picked on.

A short description of Alex: could never take my eyes off of him, didn't start talking until he was 3, he is still delayed in speech, threw tantrums that had me restraining him, walks on his tip toes only, could not handle kindergarten at all, home schooled K-2nd grade, could not play outside unsupervised while other kids his age were, doesn't look before running/riding into the road, is not aware of his surroundings or anything that could be harmful to himself, doesn't brush own hair/teeth/bath
