Harper is a power hungry piece of crap. He's a wannabe American, and he's doing this to protect his government's ass, and hope the public forgets the detainee issue by March. People need to know that a large portion of detainees were likely innocent civilians in the wrong place/wrong time, and handing them to Afghani police to be tortured is wrong(even if they were all Taliban, it could still be argued as morally wrong). Scary thing is, lots of people think only Taliban/Al Qaeda were tortured.

What a surprise.....I think Canadians are just as gutless as Americans when it comes to a hijacked government. I think, unfortunately, you are all missing the important point here: the government isn't sitting, ergo, no new taxes, no new spending, no new control mechanisms over our lives. A break from government is a welcome reprieve. We should be celebrating these limited shut downs and lobbying for more.

Harper ASKED the vice-Queen to prorogue parliement becose we are NOT A COUNTRY but a colony.

This constitutionalist is an old liar, we don't have a constitution signed by people who live on the land they own. We don't own the land, the Queen might say she owns it, First Nations own it. It's not signed either. They used liquid paper on the brittish North American Act.

If the charge of treason is warrented and applicable to the official in question, but the sentence and or detaining is impossible due to corruption or loss of rights, then it is the job of the people of the country the citizens as a whole to march upon and seize all individuals committing acts of treason.

Its only been a few months that they changed the cbc format and changed their news. People used to look forward to watch their stories, now you can flip to CNN and get the same news.
