@Howage1 it's pretty cool isn't it!! we get stuck at the railway crossing quite a lot. on one side is a beautiful river and the other, the blackbird!! we always have to leave early to go places as sometimes we are there for 15 minutes as two or three trains might need to go through. i don't mind though. i like trains.

@lillith886, wow, never heard that before. Black birds (including Crows and Ravens) can be taught to talk as well.

The vid is gr8 but they are not blackbirds... if they are blackbirds, well... the European ones sing better... try and listen...

Glad you think the vid's gr8. And you are right, these are not the same species as the european black bird. The two species just share a similar common name. These black birds are often called by their more colorful name of "red winged black bird" (Agelaius phoeniceus).
