It is good and inspiring to see ethiopians come out for Obama. But what is Obama's stance on Africa and Ethiopia in general? Who are the people peddling the votes for Obama,kinijit lackeys who push HR 2003 or actually concerned ethiopians? A president's national agenda here will not effect us as much as its foreign policies towards Ethiopia.

It is also more than the issue of Africa and Ethiopia. Although the issue of Ethiopia is at the forefront for Ethio-American, we should not forget there are many Ethiopians who reside in the U.S and are directly affected by this race. The Health Care issue, Immigration, War in Iraq, and the economy affects Ethio-Americans as much as any other American. I know many Ethio-American who are affected by the Mortgage crisis in the U.S....
