Slovakia's Roma population has always had a difficult life. Regarded as culturally inferior, they are discriminated against at all levels. Now evidence suggests they are being sterilised against their will. Ingrid Ginova was just 16 when doctors sterilised her without her knowledge. When she publicised her plight, police threatened to imprison her. Her story gives added weight to a new report stating that Romany women have been sterilised for decades without their consent.

To all those "protective" pople: When you get beaten, stolen from, verbaly abused since childhood by these gypsies, then you won't think sterilising is a drama. If nobody manages to educate them, then this should be the last option. Now bring that sterilisation laboratory to Romania! i got sterilised because of my disability, i chose to get sterilised since i'm mild mentally retarded(MENTALLY CHALLENGED)when i was 20 years old. i had my parents get me sterilised. i'm very thankful i'm sperm free.
