notice how most of these guys seem to think letting the bar slam to the floor is a requirement.. sure if its a real big left go ahead and let it drop once its back at waist level , this terrible habit is the main reason O-lifts are not allowed in most public gyms. check out more of these vids, people are even throwing the bar down , maybe i should go into the bar straightening buisness

@toyynewspaper your an idiot, ask Mark Rippetoe what a "real" power clean. This is clearly a squat clean. Your strength coach is severely misguided.

Actually it's pretty correct. he did have hip extension as he TRIED to show with his hips extended out with the light weight when he incorporated the 2nd pull. His knees were a little too far past his toes as the knees should be vertical to the floor when pulling. The catch position which can be in a squat form is used for heavy weights, as you may need to get lower for the lack on the pulls. This video is not half bad but could use more clarification, but overall it is alright
