  • Sexy lady holding in her hand a bzzzzzz noise making something ;)

  • When you guys would play with funny stuff like this, beware of soft X-Rays. You can die quite soon if you are not lucky ;-)

  • and the tv tube was born. Nice look at bending sparks with a magnet.

  • Well, that's the problem. I was taught in high school science class that magnets had Norht and South poles, not positive and negative poles. Which is positive and which is negative?

Also, what would happen if you wrapped wire around the tube and turned it into an electromagnet (while varying its polarity)?

  • @Farseeker0 well if electrons are negatively charges you can assume the the positive pole of the magnet will attract the been and the negative pole will repel it

  • Nice video, but which magnetic pole bends the beam which way?

And what if the magnetic field is not perpendicular to the beam?

  • whats that shocky thing you used to power the tube

  • That's totally Tubular, baby!

  • Wow...awesome demonstration as to why science experiments of that caliber are no longer allowed in classrooms... discharging a high voltage tesla/oudin coil to a *GAS TERMINAL*

  • eBay? *searches*
