@theory816 No, there should not be any holes left behind it, it should look flush down the side, it looks better to me. Look up on youtube : How to remove door moulding : Here is a pic of another car that looks like mine down the side, notice how it is flush and does not have a bumper down the side, it looks better to me, thats just my style though.

@theory816 so that if careless people swing their doors open, the panels catch the blunt of impact savin ur door. thats basically it. I just bought a car and took them off though, its just my preference, i like flush all the way around my car, no panels, but its also risky. Gl
