I had the pleasure of hearing Daline Jones perform with the Diego Ramirez Trio last Wednesday night (Aug 6, 2008) at the Grand Mayan Resort in San Jose del Cabo. Every song was right on, all the musicians were solid and very personable. It was a fairly small audience, being out of season, and Daline was very gracious and friendly after the two long sets, even thought it was a hot night. If you are in Los Cabos on a Wednesday night, this show is worth going out of your way to hear.

Wow! i loved this. daline jones is a wonderful, inspired singer. so much warmth, sound and presence - and to really hear her beautiful tone, listen to one of her recordings or better still hear her in person! and the musicians from this Mexico City gig, especially the pianist, are fantastic too. thank you and pass it on... hooray!
