Ok back to health care reform. All I have to say is the fact that the richest country in the world doesn't have universal health care is shocking. Why should people die in America because they don't have health care. Doesn't make much sense to me. I do see some loopholes in the Obama's health care plan but the debate should be adjusting the plan's flaws not a blatant "NO!" to the idea of uni. health care

Right people aren't paying attention to the people dying in this country. The "NO" is simply people using politics to defeat democrats. There will always be loopholes no plan with 300million people can be smooth. Part of what is holding this back is that you can't please everyone.

I think you should really think about doing daily vlogs, while you're out in the world as well. I would love to see how you interact with others and how you react to things you see outside of your home while you see it!

Yes, and I feel that concept alone is what holds progress from happening. People obsess over what sides as opposed to finding and intelligent solution. Like health care reform, it's such an important issue, but people are using it as a platform to demonstrate unimportant differences between the two "parties".

People who have not experienced hardship really aren't the best to be arguing that subject, it's determined to become petty. Ha! They wonder why youth isn't interested in politics.

All points that are logical and make good sense should be embraced no matter which party they come from. You should never lament wise thoughts from other people; you should embrace them even if they are from a party you disagree with.

Well I will note that I am moderate. Directly in the middle on the political spectrum. You can imagine the flack I get for that being African American holding a handful of conservative viewpoints. But too bad, a lot of republican points are simply logical and make good sense. I really think Obama and many democrats sit on a more republican side when you explore their incomes and net worth. They struggle with living a wealthy life but touting a 'democratic' agenda.

Name ONE government plan that has EVER saved money! Reform is fine and I think Obama delivered a good speech. He backed away from a public plan. If we can pass his talking points I will be happy.

1. Tort reform

2. Keeping insurance companies from denying coverage for preexisting conditions.

3. Pooling employees to get group rates for small business

Youre pretty much looking at the Republican plan.

I pay a ton in taxes, income taxes and I own a home in a city, so property taxes as well. I will soon own a multi unit building, 5 year plan that I will be paying more in taxes than most people make.

The plan is designed to save people money if other options don't work out. It's just the public option that's being added to health care. There's the preexisting plans a, b and c. Then there's the public option if the others don't work out. It is proposed that that would save people money.
