Information on some of your many options for carrying water. Military style canteen (1 Quart) with cover and cup. Hydration Bladder. Plastic "Nalgene" bottles. GI Military style collapsible 2 quart canteen with cover, Zip-Lock bag. Iodine purification. Trioxane fuel bars. Info on each container.

  • Nice job. You did not discuss the cap on the squarish 2 qt army canteen. That flip top looks like it has a little plug on the one I bought, is that a bladder plug? A smallish nipple of some sort.

  • I have one ot these 2 quart military canteens and can't get the lid to fit down tightly. It will act like it's cross threading and it will leak. Do you have this problem? Do you know how to fix it? I like the canteen but it is unusable in its current condition.
