@Darenkel What trudbol says is true.This is not "REAL" A Cappella.This is Somewhat Beatboxing with HEAVY sound engineering added into it. He even says so in his other videos that he changes the pitch up and down octaves. He can't actually go that high or that low.

Daichi on the other hand can actually hit that "high" synth note that he does with his voice with no help. But Daichi is also an amazing beatboxer.

What we have here is someone who is EXTREMELY talented, but with the help of computers.

@Darenkel No need to be unpleasant because you disagree with me. This isn't A Cappella because all the vocals are pitch corrected, time-shifted, heavily compressed, etc. In one word, none of what you hear is real. The instrument here is a heavy does of audio engineering. As I said, it's skillful, but it's not A Cappella, and it shouldn't be presented as such. Humans don't sound like this. I say this as an A Cappella singer myself. Again MT is talented and everything, it's just not A Cappella.

I'm surprised no one seems to notice the amount of sound engineering involved. People seem to think this is really A Cappella or beatboxing, when it isn't. There's heavy duty audio and video engineering involved, things like pitch correction, heavy compression. all notes fall exactly on time, etc. Don't get me wrong, Mike Tompkins is charismatic, talented and knows what he's doing, it's just NOT a cappella or beatboxing. It should be described as "pop music with voice / mouth samples" at best.
