Kinda. But usually is not the same as always. And I feel like "urban violence" refers mostly to the kind of crime we see in urban environments. Stuff like muggings/murders over territory for drug sales is more of what I think of when I think of the term "urban violence". Columbine wasn't very urban.

And no, I don't think they cause it directly. But I definitely see a link between the change in everyone's approach to stuff like common courtesy and people's willingness to kill other people.

You didn't even read what I wrote correctly. I didn't say that internet arguing is the cause of anything. I said it contributes. And I was talking about random acts of violence. Stuff like bombings and publlic shootings. Not urban violence.

It's not necessary telling of intelligence to be able to spell, but at least it recognizes the notion that you're making the effort to communicate with someone following an common protocol.
