This is a video project that I did back in December 2006 in my media class and I got it complete In January 2007. It's about the History of Nintendo and so after it being in my digital archives, I decided to upload it. This was supposed to be 3 minutes but I had it extended to 5 minutes and yes I know I rushed through it's history so I could make it that short but eventually I had to cut to the chase.

  • What's the Ken Burns effect?

  • @LJK193 It's a simple video editing technique where a still image is used, and the video would pan and zoom on the object. It's the type of effect that's often used in documentaries.

  • What!? You completely skipped over the N64 because you went so in depth in the NES.

  • I mentioned in my description that I was going over the time the documentry was supposed to be (it was supposed to be 3 minutes, but mine was 5). I wanted to mention SNES, N64, GBA, Gamecube, DS and other stuff from Nintendo's history, but that would make it up to 10-20 minutes so I had to cut to the chase and end with the conclusion.

  • Very cool! That must have been a fun project!

  • Yup, it sure has.

  • "download classic nintendo games?"

heck, i gotta NES. i'll just buy them games.

i have every nintendo home console except for an NES.

  • They will send you a deck of Hanafuda cards for 800 CN Coins.

  • No n64 or thought of the console wars or 16-bit era? Why???

  • Not a bad documentary. Yes, it could have been more informative but seeing as how it's apparently a school project of yours, then I could see how your time could be limited.

  • 1889?

  • Super nes?????

  • nintendo 64??????
