Terrible movie! Unrealistic and insulting to my intelligence. Check your brain at the door if you want to enjoy this one, the last thing we need is a Disney version of black history. The bad thing is, people will make reference to this as history whether we want to admit it or not, it's actually dangerous when you think about it that way. I guess I'm supposed to believe they would not have been killed at the end of the movie right? Because the south is known for it's progressive tolerance right?

I just seen this movie. I give it 5 stars. Brilliant acting from Emma Stone,Octavia Spencer,Jessica Chastain,Cicely Tyson,Bryce Dallas Howard,Viola Davis.& I must say little Emma Henry was the cutest thing in this film.I really loved how they told the story of what it was like to be a black maid living in the 50's & 60's.It made me want to cry my eyes out on so many parts of the movie.It also warmed my heart to a great level.You should see this weather or not you are black or white,girl or boy.
