To answer the cry for freedom

Hear the weary
Hearts in query
Answer the promise of old

Part the darkness,
Light within us
Free now the body and soul

Touch the sick here among us
The maimed and the poor endure
Humanity cries for freedom

Taste the salt of the wicked
It taints and dismays the pure
The waters are fed
With tears that are shed
And hope for the bearer's cure
