NIce vid - agree about a lil less decorative from a technical aspect - altho if you ever were a PWEI fan you would understand as Clint Mansell often added pinched harmonics and such to a lot of his music.
Can U Dig It is a prime example.

I like how you made that song sound good with distortion, I just feel there is a bit too much of the "decorative stuff" as 1000thSun called it. Still - a great interpretation!

Concentrating too much on pinched harmonics, ignoring basics like tone control, eq balance, and nailing the note without bending out with vibrato. A lot of guitarists nowadays seem to use the decorative stuff to cover up mistakes, or inabilities. Practice practice practice! Good stuff, but not so much gain next time - A slightly cleaner tone forces you to play a bit slicker too.
