Motorola HK100 First Impressions Review

This is just a quick review of the Motorola HK100 bluetooth headset. Like I said in the video I have only owned the device for a day, so I cannot fully say if I would recommend the device or not yet.


Phone Calls:
The speaker was great on my test call. The incoming audio was very crisp and clean. The microphone did good in a quiet environment, but did have a problem picking up basic background noise, such as a tv.

PS3 Online:
So far I haven't been able to successfully use the headset for ps3 online gameplay. It does sync very easily to the system, but isn't working properly during gameplay.


UPDATE: While the headset did start to work on the PS3, I decided to return it out and try out the Gioteck EX-02. A full review of the new headset will be out in a few days!

Hey guys I bought this headset today at walmart.com I planning use it with my ps3 mostly but I dont know how to turns the volume up and down when using with the ps3 I mean has only one button for everything and the instruction manual explain how to do it with the cellphone but not with the ps3.some help please?

@yordan826 I'm not completely sure, but I don't think you can adjust the volume while using it with the PS3. I did not have very good luck using this heaset with my PS3, so I did return it for the Gioteck EX-02, you can find a review of that product on my channel also.

@bdbl0 Since this video I have only used it a small amount of time on my PS3, so I cannot totally recommend it or not yet. I have not tried it again yet with my phone. I will post another video once I have more experience with it and can give a full review. As of right now I would only recommend the product if you are on a very tight budget since it is so affordable.

the hk100 is shit on the ps3, and by that i mean its heavily unreliable. It works sometimes but mostly not, so if anybdy sees this im tellin you do not pick this up for gaming on your playstation. If somebdy has figured out a remedy plz let me know.

I have recently bought this mic hk100 and I hooked it up wit my ps3 and it has pretty good audio and ppl can hear me good. But wen I turn it off and turn it back on the ps3 doesn't pick up the signal so I have 2 delete the device then register it again n then go 2 settings and put where it can make me talk through tht mic. So plz some1 help plz

Is the volume pretty loud, all other bt headsets I've used are all low volume even after putting it to the loudest volume
