Well, the best history I know of brings it to me through a mixture of early church faithfulness in copying it, the Roman religion translating into Latin, the martyrs daringly translating into German and English and the like, thanks to Erasmus... and so forth and so on. King James, Westcott-Hort, blah blah. I'm thankful that the TRUE ANSWER is that by God's Sovereign control, all types of people have been used to preserve His Word!

But Grace, where did YOU get the Word of God ? Think about it. Think HARD.

Well that's news to me... I thought God breathed the Scriptures through the inspiration of His Holy Spirit upon Jewish prophets, kings, and priests. Then, the New Testament I thought came from that same Holy Spirit, inspiring Christians and Apostles. So, did your Roman priest tell you that the Bible came from a pagan Roman emperor? Interesting, but completely false. Try again.

But Grace, where did you get the Word of God ? ... oh, that's right, ... it came from the CATHOLIC CHURCH.

It's just too bad for the Roman religion that the so-called history that they lie and say they have actually doesn't start until after Augustine and 400 AD. sorry, try again. The Catholic religion has as much authority on reality as any other man made system like Islam, Mormonism, Buddhism, etc. All false and man centered. All answer the question "how is one saved" by saying "he must work for it." The Word of God alone tells us it is by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ ALONE. amen.

Christianity as a whole is littered with Pagan Symbols: The Christmas Tree, The Wedding Ring, Easter Eggs, crosses, the fish symbol. The list goes on and on. Christ has taken possesstion of the whole world, including its symbolism.
By the way, the word Trinity is not in the bible. The only reason Christians believe it is becuase the Catholic Church said it was true at the Council of Nicea in 325 AD.
Peace out.

Thats a childish argument I have heard too many times. You know damn well the difference when you call out "Holy father! Holy father! Bless me! Bless me!" to the Pope.
