Sister Anna Finnegan of the Medical Missionaries of Mary speaks of how much she felt moved by the suffering of the people of Haiti caused by the earthquake. Seeing images on TV, she knew she could be of help. She is an experienced nurse having worked in difficult conditions in Nigeria for 25 years, and more recently as a specialist in wound care. Taking leave of absence from the Mater Hospital in Dublin, she flew to Haiti on February 17 to work with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny.
