Yup, but it's normal, France is the only country in the EU to have a Catobar carrier. Every other country only possess STOVL without any arrested recovery.

This is not red flag, it is a friendly demonstration of the Rafale at Luke base.
The exercice was squadron of 6 Rafale vs 6 F16 in dogfights.
Rafale squadrons won all deathmatch exercices against the F16.
Side note, USAF pilots declared to be surprised by the french pilots skills and the Rafale aggressivity
