how do I know which way to go to findthe sirens :'(

Follow their sound, which is pretty tough. Your only going to hear a faint sound (the sirens song you hear it playing in the cutscene where Athena talks to you,) at first when you get closer it gets louder, so you have to use that as a sort of marker.
