R.I.P. Deputy Adam Klutz

Lenoir, NC - On Friday night, at around 9:40, Deputy Adam Klutz responded to a 911 call that originated from the home of Larry Brucke aka Skip Brinkley. When Klutz arrived at the scene, he was shot in the head, he died on Saturday. When Lt. Chris Martin arrived at the scene, he was shot three times in the chest, but survived because of his bullet proof vest. The 911 call was a hang-up call reportedly made by Skips fiancee after a domestic dispute.

i was elementary school friends with Adam, i recently learned of his untimely death a few momnets ago.... My prayers go out to his family and all that lost this brave and kind soul... ,Adam, i'll never forget playing Ninja Turtles with you on the playground of GFES! U were my friend! We'll miss you!
