I've seen it too and it is great!

  • @iolanik The actual movie doesn't have that scene. I just got it from Amazon and I can assure you that it is an excellent movie.

  • @iolanik

ha. I have to admit that's pretty good.

  • I'm surprised I didnt see a tour bus with american tourists flashing pictures in the background. How lame! that bus passing by at 1:12 must've been that tour bus going thru the studio lot. Get it together guys! What's next? a catering truck with samurais downing hotdogs and burritos?

  • @FerghusClydelover RAH!

Fukasaku did a magnificent job with this film. "Too bad someone of Kurosawa's skill didn't direct it." Pfft.

  • Was that a car passing by at 1:12? XD

Looks like a good movie nevertheless.

This person is an actor with many performances of the bad person. However, he who is true is a tender good person. It is a common story.

  • awesome man, sonny chiba looks so freaking sweet in it, gonna get the DVD which is gonna be coming out end of jan in uk and is on sale on play

  • Very strange movie. Well acted. Nicely laid out. Was very hard to follow, and figure out who was doing what to who. Poorly edited. Several events were shown that were dead ends and no explanation why. The ending was the oddest. Was it just a dream? Who knows. Weird. Too bad someone of Kurosawa's skill didn't direct it. Likely would have been much better if I could understand Japanese, as the subtitles were difficult to follow.
