Thanks to youtube uploaders, I've heard Andy William's version. I heard Patti Page on this song first when I was a little girl and until last week wasn't even aware of William's version. I like both Page and William's on this one and don't have a favorite so I'll continue to enjoy both. Actually, I enjoy them both on many of the same songs. Heard Patti on them all first so a delight to find Andy's versions.

The synchopated plucked violins are such a tremendous hook! What a song! The Beats pulled it off using ska guitar in the 80s. This cover is grat but I still like Andy Williams' the most.
